Cobbs
May 6th, 2004Always in May..
May 4th, 2004I begin looking at the local rental listings and decide whether I really am too cold for someone paying $90 / week. Generally I conclude “No. ” And buy a heater.
I do love this house, and yeah it is dirt cheap. But I am struggling with the cold nights already. I mean, if I could be warm or rich, I’d be warm. Maybe…
Honestly, I know Im not going to move. I’ve good it too easy here, really. The location would be nearly impossible to beat. And garages to keep the bikes in don’t come around too often in Richmond. I really can’t be arsed packing all my stuff up, too. Although that’s a dangerous line of thinking, as it’s only going to get worse each year that goes by. At least I’ve so far managed to avoid buying anything as large as a TV or fridge.
Excuse me, I’m just going to nip off and fire up the electric blanket.

May 4th, 2004Lovely day in Melbourne
April 22nd, 2004It’s not often I have to stop and turn around because a road is
impassable. Particularly in Collingwood! The picture doesn’t really do
it justice, but on my way to work I encountered this – about 5 inches of
water.
It’s Melbourne, though, so the sun should be out in a few minutes…
Charlotte Pass
April 9th, 2004Around 2000m up in the Snowy Mountains. Amazing roads, definitely worth the toll! Another 200km to Canberra.
