Ok ill admit the place is growing on me :-)
Doubt ill find a net cafe so ill catch up on some details now…
Went for a ride up to st moritz yesterday, after giving my ‘refreshed’ student care a run at a nearby museum.
Spent another night on the lake before leaving this morning. Blasting up the autostrada at between 130 and 180, depending on how many polish and czech trucks try to invade your lane, was a bit of a hoot.
Dislocating my shoulder again while reaching for a beer a couple of nights ago was less fun. Still quite excruciating, as are a couple of riding and walking sores.
Quite enjoying italy on the whole, and its mostly a lot more affordable. Except Venice! Planning on shuffling over to a nearby beach side town tomorrow morning for a couple of days of doing nothing before tackling the austrian alps on my way to germany.
How’s the italian coffee & pasta? Do lots of people speak English or have you mostly been communicating with hand signals? :P
… Your trip so far looks absolutely fantastic. I wish I was there :)
I’d keep going south Jules – the weather on the French Riviera looks much better than in Austria and Germany!
I see you’ve learnt to keep out of the fast lane in Italy as all those crazies can’t wait to overtake anything in that lane.
Hey Jules! so so jealous! Looks like you are having a great time, im looking forward to some more pics!
Cool fun, Jules! I’d like to hear a bit about the people who inhabit thesep places… Have you had a chance to get social with many locals?
Hi Jules, glad you enjoy your adventure, but sorry about your shoulder.Don’t reach too fast for the beer! My footsteps may still lingering at places where I used to “hunt” long time ago, but not before the Borgia’s and the Merchants of Venice. Be careful on the roads, but I feel you are already a seasoned “euro-driver”. Take-in as much impressions as you can manage, they last a life-time on your hard disc! Ciao for now.GPA
