Here already?

Well I’ll take that as an indication that you are in fact interested in reading about my trip. Excellent ;-)

For the uber geeks, you can actually get this as an RSS feed.. check the bottom of the right hand column.

Another interesting factoid is that when I make a post from my phone, the date and time listed with the post should actually be my correct local time from wherever I posted. Isn’t that dandy? The internet seems to have eroded the value of timestamping so it’s nice to think I’m doing my bit to restore the balance.

Note to self.. Check the replies to the Sachsenring forum.

Finished packing. check.
Got passport and tickets ready… check.
Did student card validity forgery… check.
** Beer and TV calls. Bye now.

Postscript:
1 pair of shoes. Will that be enough? Do normal people take more if they can’t fit it into their backpack? Problem is I’m buying bike boots over there so I need room to bring shoes back.

I’d have to recomend thongs or sandles. They don’t take up much space and it’ll be freakin hot in some places. Also, most of the beaches aren’t sandy and you won’t impress any of those amazing French or Italian girls if you’re spazzing it all the way to the water :)

Nice work ;) Happy trails :)

Yay for universal clothes – a single pair of comfy shoes (sneakers?) goes a very long way if you’re travelling light, and noone will be expecting you to have anything more than that. *nod* Sandles are a great idea to save spaz factor on hot beaches.

I can’t say I really know what normal people do, though (^:

Definitely recommend 2 pairs. Sneakers and sandles/thongs.

In other news. There’s a link to SitePoint at the top of Slashdot right now (article here). Hope the server doesn’t go down. =)

Might buy some in Milan then ;-P Nah I was gonna pack sandals but broke the straps trying to compress them into my bag!

Ooh how lovely would you look in new Milanese sandles. Bearing in mind that Summer will be around the corner when you return. I’m sure Australian girls on St Kilda Beach will like them too ;-)
